Our volunteers are the heart of Aiken’s Makin’. The 2008 Aiken’s Makin’ has brought excitement to the downtown area, filling the air with sounds and laughter and enjoyment. Booths will burst with handmade offerings and visitors will walk the parkways with their wonderful purchases, chatting and enjoying the late summer weather.
This all comes about through the effort of more than one hundred volunteers working with the Chamber of Commerce in a variety of ways, from delivering ice to providing directions to that special crafter or vendor.
